Posible actions and indications by the administration way.
Programs offered and analytical study of users
The possible actions and effects of the mineral water at Balneario of Valdelateja
(Burgos) are exposed. This hypothermal, hypotonic water contains mostly
bicarbonate and calcium. A revision is made of the specific indications of these
waters and the contraindications are pointed out. The different offered programmes
and the used techniques are specified. Supplied information concerning to number
of users, as well as the most frequent pathologies and results are analyzed and
shown in graphics and figures.

EL BALNEARIO DE VALDELATEJA Y SUS AGUAS
A orillas del río Rudrón y muy cercano a su desembocadura en el
Ebro, se encuentra el Balneario de Valdelateja. Su situación es privile-
giada entre los cañones del Ebro y del Rudrón que forman juegos de
agua que con su feroz fuerza han desgastado las rocas calcáreas del
Cretáceo Superior y junto con el viento y otros agentes atmosféricos
han colaborado a construir un fantástico paisaje de calizas perforadas.
El Balneario de Valdelateja (Figura 1) se encuentra en un lugar
singular, acogedor, confortable, que invita al descanso y al ocio, de-
clarado Paisaje Protegido, escogido por amantes del senderismo y
otros deportes que buscan el contacto con la naturaleza (1).
